Outages due to BBCOM backbone Internet router

Serious frequent outages are occurring today due to a failure of a backbone Internet link nearby one of the principal US POP of Switzernet. The chart below shows the outage pattern.

 

 

 

Text Box: Last update on 17:26 (from bbcominc) OSPF link on one of our routers was flapping this morning. It bounced intermittently causing your Internet connection to bounce. We are still investigating the cause. In the meantime, we added default route on the router so your connection will not be affected regardless what happens to OSPF. We will continue to monitor your circuit throughout the day. Please feel free to contact us if you still experience any issues. Current status 17:47, the problem is still unsolved Confirming that the OSFP link is up (18:26) ...The OSPF link has been fixed around the time you saw the last outage (about 25 minutes ago). The last outage was on 18:08 (Swiss local time). Since then there were no losses.
