A t_check_trans() funciton call sudenly terminates the routing script logic without giving any error message when the calling UA retransmits its INVITE. The calling UA will retransmit its INVITE if you unplug the callee UA from ethernet immediately before the INVITE, and if the t_relay is called so as to not generate the provisional 100 (Trying) reply (i.e. use t_relay("0x01") in the proxy). OpenSER's version 1.2.0 is used.

Please comment. Regards, Emin

This is correct as far as my understanding on the function goes.

pre-1.2, you would have to call t_lookup_request() and then t_retransmit_reply() to detect a retransmitted sip request and re-send the last reply. Now this is all incorporated into t_check_trans() by default.

Thanks for the reply. From the doc http://www.openser.org/docs/modules/1.2 ... tml#AEN459 one would understand that "t_check_trans()" takes no action and only informs whether the request is associated with an on-going transaction or not: "t_check_trans(): Returns true if the current request is associated to a transaction".
